This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work on the Manivo platform. Our goal is to be fair to customers and providers while keeping the marketplace reliable for everyone.
Cancel or reschedule within the allowed timeframes to reduce or avoid cancellation fees.
Late cancellations may include a fee because the provider reserved time for the service.
Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method when reasonably possible.
We may review emergencies, safety concerns, or unusual circumstances individually.
Clear policies help protect customers, providers, and the reliability of the marketplace.
You may cancel a requested or confirmed service through the available Manivo account or booking tools, or by contacting Manivo support when self-service cancellation is not available.
Any applicable cancellation fee is determined using the scheduled service start time and the notice provided before that time. Fees are intended to recognize provider time that was reserved and may be difficult to replace on short notice.
Unless a different rule is disclosed for a particular booking, the following customer-cancellation schedule applies:
Where a cancellation fee applies, Manivo may refund the remaining eligible amount to the original payment method.
Same-day bookings have a compressed scheduling window. If you cancel a same-day booking after a provider has accepted the work, the cancellation fee associated with the amount of notice remaining before the scheduled start may apply.
If a same-day service is still awaiting provider acceptance and no provider has reserved the work, Manivo may waive the cancellation fee.
When available, you may request to reschedule instead of canceling. If the change is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start and the new time can be accommodated, Manivo generally will not charge a cancellation fee solely for the reschedule.
Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled start may be treated as a late cancellation and new booking if the assigned provider cannot accommodate the requested change.
Provider availability is not guaranteed for a new date or time.
If an assigned provider cancels, becomes unavailable, or cannot complete the accepted work, Manivo may attempt to match another qualified provider or offer alternate scheduling.
You will not be charged a customer cancellation fee because a provider or Manivo canceled the service. If Manivo cannot reasonably fulfill the affected portion of the order and you do not accept an alternate arrangement, amounts paid for that unperformed portion will be refunded or released as applicable.
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time after Manivo submits a refund depends on the payment processor, financial institution, and payment method.
If a payment authorization has not yet settled, the transaction may appear as a released or reversed authorization instead of a separate refund.
Manivo may issue an account credit instead of a cash refund only when you agree or where the original payment method cannot reasonably receive the refund and the alternative is permitted by law.
If work has already begun, a full refund is not automatic. Manivo may review the services completed, time spent, materials used, approved scope changes, the reason the work stopped, and the remaining unperformed scope.
Any refund, credit, or payment adjustment may be limited to the portion of the service that was not completed or was materially deficient, subject to the specific circumstances and applicable law.
Amounts that may be non-refundable include properly assessed cancellation or no-show fees; completed services; materials or supplies specifically purchased for the customer and already used or non-returnable; and third-party charges that Manivo cannot recover, when those amounts were disclosed or reasonably attributable to the service.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.
If you believe a service was not completed as agreed, was materially deficient, or involved an improper charge, contact Manivo promptly with the order information and a description of the issue. Photos or other supporting information may help us evaluate the matter.
Manivo may review reasonable exceptions for documented emergencies, material safety concerns, severe weather, property-access emergencies, duplicate bookings, platform errors, or other circumstances where applying the standard policy would be inappropriate.
Any exception is based on the facts of the specific case and does not require Manivo to make the same exception in unrelated situations.
A service may be treated as a customer no-show if the provider arrives within the agreed service window but cannot reasonably begin because the customer is unavailable when required, the provider cannot access the service location, or required access instructions were inaccurate or missing.
Manivo and the provider should make a reasonable effort to contact the customer when practical. A no-show may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the service total, depending on the circumstances and work already committed.
Use the cancellation or rescheduling controls available in your Manivo account or booking details. If those controls are unavailable or you need assistance, contact Manivo support at support@manivo.org or 866-426-2465.
The effective cancellation time is the time Manivo receives the cancellation through an available Platform control or directly through an authorized Manivo support channel.
Manivo may update this policy as our services and marketplace evolve. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made and provide additional notice when required by applicable law or when a material change applies to future bookings.
The policy that applies to a particular booking will generally be the policy presented or made available in connection with that booking, subject to applicable law.
Questions about a cancellation, refund, reschedule, or service issue may be sent to support@manivo.org or by calling 866-426-2465.
