Our Terms & Conditions

1Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Manivo regarding your use of Manivo’s website, marketplace, account features, communications, service-request tools, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using the Platform, creating an account, submitting a booking, accepting a service, or otherwise indicating agreement electronically, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Electronic records and agreements may have legal effect under applicable law.

If you use Manivo on behalf of another person, household, organization, or business, you represent that you have authority to act for them.

2Description of Manivo and the Services

Manivo operates a technology-enabled home-services marketplace that helps customers request, coordinate, and manage household services and helps independent providers receive opportunities to perform those services.

Unless Manivo expressly states otherwise for a specific service, the individual or business performing the work is an independent service provider and is not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or partner of Manivo. Manivo facilitates the marketplace, communications, scheduling, payment-related workflows, and customer-support processes.

Service availability varies by location, provider capability, scheduling, service scope, and other factors. Submission of a service request does not guarantee that a provider will be available or accept the work.

3Eligibility and User Accounts

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or booking services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account. Notify Manivo promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts using false information, interfere with the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, misuse provider or customer information, or use Manivo for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe activity.

4Orders, Bookings, Matching, and Service Scope

When you request services, you are responsible for selecting the requested work, providing accurate information, choosing available scheduling options, and providing a safe and reasonably accessible service location.

Manivo may use service category, provider capabilities, location, service radius, availability, customer preferences, order economics, and other operational factors to identify potential providers. A provider may accept or decline an offer.

An order may involve more than one provider when the requested work requires different capabilities or cannot reasonably be assigned to one provider. Manivo may also propose alternate scheduling or scope arrangements when the original request cannot be fulfilled as submitted.

If the actual condition, size, quantity, access, or scope differs materially from the information submitted, the provider or Manivo may propose a reasonable scope or price adjustment. Where customer approval is required, the additional or revised work should not proceed until approval is obtained.

5Pricing, Payments, and Fees

Prices displayed on Manivo may be based on the service selected, quantities, home or property characteristics, add-ons, scheduling factors, minimum-order requirements, and other disclosed pricing inputs.

You authorize Manivo and its payment-processing partners to charge the payment method you provide for amounts properly due for your order, including approved service charges, adjustments, cancellation charges, or other amounts disclosed to you.

Providers may receive a payout that is different from the amount paid by the customer. Manivo may retain service fees, marketplace fees, payment-processing amounts, supplements, or other platform economics as part of operating the marketplace.

Taxes, if applicable, will be handled as required by law. Pricing errors, duplicate charges, or payment issues should be reported promptly to Manivo support.

6Provider Relationship and Provider Responsibilities

Providers are independent businesses or individuals responsible for deciding whether to accept work, performing accepted services professionally, following the agreed service scope, communicating material issues, using appropriate tools and methods, and complying with laws applicable to their work.

Provider eligibility, profile review, verification, background-check processes, or other screening measures do not constitute a guarantee by Manivo regarding a provider’s conduct, suitability, workmanship, licensing status, or future performance.

Providers who use Manivo are also subject to the separate Provider Terms.

7Customer Responsibilities and Property Access

Customers are responsible for providing accurate service details and a safe environment for the provider, including reasonable access to the property and the areas where work will be performed.

You should disclose known hazards, aggressive animals, unsafe conditions, restricted areas, special access instructions, or other information reasonably relevant to safe performance of the service.

Unless the service expressly includes them, providers are not required to perform work that is materially different from the booked scope, unsafe, illegal, outside their capability, or subject to licensing or qualification requirements they do not satisfy.

8Customer Non-Circumvention & Off-Platform Booking

Manivo invests in finding, evaluating, matching, scheduling, supporting, and processing transactions with independent providers. A “Manivo-Introduced Provider” is a provider you first learn of, communicate with, are matched with, or receive services from through Manivo. A provider with whom you can reasonably demonstrate a legitimate pre-existing service relationship is not a Manivo-Introduced Provider solely because that provider later appears on Manivo.

For twelve (12) months after your most recent Manivo service with, booking involving, or introduction to a particular Manivo-Introduced Provider, you agree not to intentionally bypass Manivo to hire or pay that provider directly for services arising from the relationship created through Manivo. This includes asking or encouraging the provider to cancel or move a Manivo booking off-platform or knowingly arranging payment or future service outside Manivo for the purpose of avoiding the Platform.

This restriction does not prevent ordinary communication needed to complete a Manivo service, does not prevent you from hiring service providers you found independently, and does not apply to a legitimate provider relationship that existed before the Manivo introduction. If a Manivo-Introduced Provider asks you to move future work off-platform during the applicable period, please continue booking through Manivo or contact Manivo support.

Intentional circumvention may be treated as a material violation of these Terms and may result in account restrictions or other remedies available under these Terms and applicable law. Nothing in this section is intended to waive rights that applicable consumer-protection law does not permit you to waive.

9Cancellations, Refunds, and Service Issues

Cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, credits, and related charges are governed by Manivo’s Cancellation / Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

If you believe a service was incomplete, materially different from the confirmed scope, improperly charged, or otherwise problematic, contact Manivo as soon as reasonably possible so we can review the circumstances.

Customer ratings, reviews, and “use this provider again” preferences may be used to improve future matching. Manivo may prevent a provider from being matched to a customer again when appropriate.

10Communications

By providing contact information and using Manivo, you agree that we may send transactional and service-related communications by email, telephone, text message, or other supported channels, including booking confirmations, provider-match updates, scheduling notices, service reminders, account notices, support communications, and security messages.

Marketing communications, when used, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available opt-out mechanisms. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or service-related communications.

11Reviews, Feedback, and User Content

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, service notes, feedback, or other content, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate law or the rights of others.

You grant Manivo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, format, and distribute submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote, and support the Platform, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Manivo may remove or restrict content that is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, misleading, irrelevant, or otherwise inconsistent with Platform integrity or safety.

12Platform Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, test, or update Platform features, service areas, matching methods, pricing structures, provider eligibility criteria, communications, or other functionality from time to time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. Maintenance, technical failures, third-party services, provider availability, internet connectivity, or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

13Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. Manivo does not guarantee that every requested service will be accepted, completed, available at a particular time, or free from errors or interruptions.

Independent providers are responsible for the services they perform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manivo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or services arranged through it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing here waives rights that applicable consumer-protection law does not permit you to waive.

14Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Manivo and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising out of your material breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, unlawful conduct, or violation of another person’s rights.

15Suspension and Termination

Manivo may investigate conduct and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Platform when reasonably necessary to address fraud, safety concerns, repeated nonpayment, misuse, abusive conduct, violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or material risk to customers, providers, Manivo, or third parties.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership provisions, disclaimers, limitations, indemnification, and governing-law provisions—will survive as applicable.

16Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another law must apply.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise or Manivo and you agree to another dispute process in writing, disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Arizona.

17Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Manivo evolves. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and provide additional notice when required by law or when changes are material.

Your continued use of Manivo after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
