Why we created Manivo

The idea for Manivo came from our own family.

As our parents got older, my wife Laura and I often found ourselves trying to help with simple things around their homes while living in different areas. A light bulb that needed changing, a small repair, cleaning, yard work, or another everyday task could become surprisingly difficult to coordinate from hundreds of miles away.

We kept thinking there should be an easier way — one place where families could find trusted help, know the work was being handled, and still have control over who was helping in the home.

That idea became Manivo.

We built Manivo to make everyday home help easier — whether you’re managing your own home or helping someone you care about from across town or across the country.
